Kura-Tu

Terms of Use

Last updated 26 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Kura-Tu Intelligence Network, including the Kura-Tu mobile app and kura-tu.com. By using Kura-Tu you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Network.

1. What Kura-Tu is — and is not

Kura-Tu is a Privacy-First Crowdsourced Intelligence Network. Contributors voluntarily submit brief observations, which Kura-Tu aggregates into privacy-protected Community Intelligence.

Kura-Tu is not an official voting system. It does not cast, transmit or count ballots. It does not replace your official ballot. It does not report official election results. Every election figure shown in the app is contributor-generated Community Election Intelligence, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. For official information, always rely on your state or local election authority.

Kura-Tu is non-partisan. We do not endorse candidates, parties or positions.

2. Who can use it

You must be old enough to be eligible to register to vote in your jurisdiction, and you must be able to enter these terms. Some features require you to verify your voter registration with your state’s official lookup.

3. Your account

You sign in with your mobile number. Keep access to that number secure — anyone who controls it can reach your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. One person, one account.

4. Your contributions

Participation is voluntary. You are never obliged to answer a request, and declining has no consequence for you.

You keep ownership of what you submit. By submitting, you grant Kura-Tu a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, aggregate and de-identify your observations so they can become Community Intelligence, and to keep them in aggregate form. This licence exists so the Network can function; it does not let us sell your identity or your individual responses, which we do not do.

You agree that what you submit is honest and your own first-hand observation. Aggregated Community Intelligence cannot be reversed back to you, so a contribution that has been aggregated cannot be individually withdrawn — you can still delete your account at any time.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

Election rules differ by state, including rules about phones and photography at polling places. Following them is your responsibility.

6. Community Intelligence

Community Intelligence is built from what contributors report. It is provided for general information, is not verified against official sources, and may be wrong, delayed or incomplete. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a decision that matters to you, and never in place of official election information.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw features. We aim to keep the Network available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. If we change these terms we will update this page and the date above; continued use after a change means you accept it.

8. Our intellectual property

Kura-Tu, its name, logo, and the software and design of the Network are ours or our licensors’. These terms do not transfer any of that to you.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kura-Tu is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Community Intelligence is accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kura-Tu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on Community Intelligence. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time — see the account deletion page. We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken, particularly where the integrity of Community Intelligence is at risk.

12. Governing law

Jurisdiction to be confirmed before publication.
